Shark bait ooh ah ah

 Hi Friends,

Told ya' I'd be back with more whimsy love this month.  Ummm, nope these are not Sand "Shahks".  These are those big momma jammas that if you start hearing the music.....you is in big trouble!

However, these goofy fellers are just happy to wish anyone a happy anything!

Can you believe this card took me 40 minutes to make from start to finish with no plan in mind.  I stamped the goofy trio and started coloring and before I knew it I was done.  Whimsy has it all right down to the embellishments!

I loved this so much I made it into a hanging sign. That's why you see the string if you were wondering.

Ok, are you ready for the color palette it's an easy one and you can easily follow it and color your very own.

Back with my Gnomies

Hello Friends,

First a little housekeeping with Blogger.  I have switched to a new email service

If you are using Feedburner it no longer works.  I recommend this service.

Halfway through the week and has it been a busy one.  Today I am so very excited to share with you a new release from Whimsy Stamps.  Gnomes Lift You Up paired with the new release Slimline Dies Cornered Rectangle.

Before I talk about the card.  I want to tell you I feel is so awesome about how Whimsy operates.  Their releases are awesome because there are 3 a month! WOW, HOW COOL IS THIS!  They actually have their customer's budget first.  I mean, let's get real.  We want it all but, the fact is we can't have it all.  But we can afford a little at a time.  That is why the 3 releases a month are fabulous.  Second, they are really on top of their shipping.  When I order something it is here so fast.

Ok, now onto the card.  I had a blast coloring this adorable stamp by Chrissy, her gnomes are so adorable. When I colored this stamp I took my time and it was therapy. I used so many colors and tried something new on the tree leaves.  Instead of dotting I used the side of my brush nib, laid it down, and pulled it up.  But I made them very small.  It went faster than dotting it with the tip of my nib.

Ok So I have an updated version of my Color Palette and it is Instagram Friendly.  Now it is broken down step by step and named for what the color combo goes to.  It also has the product used on it.

I would love for you all to share it, pin it, where ever you can.

Well, I hope you enjoyed today's share.  I will be back with another very special Whimsy Post this month with the next release.

Bear and Bunny Digital Stamp by Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios

Hello,  I am back with Rachelle Anne Miller Studios today, helping to promote stamps that have been in her shop.  Maybe you have seen them and maybe not.

I had a little fun with this cutie, Bear & Bunny Digital, I used Copics to color the image and add shadows for the grass.  Then I felt like using oxide inks to finish the grass and do the sky.  I used 2 different greens and 2 different blues.  And it hit me!  I made the clouds with a q-tip and Lawn FawnPigment ink pad, Yeti!  Oh, yeah....that was totally awesome.  Oh, I am for sure someone somewhere has done this before but, I've not seen it.

instead of flowers, I used sequins with red rhinestones.  Added embroidery floss and that was it.  I wanted to keep it clean and simple!  This was an easy and fast card to make and a lot of fun.

I will see you again soon, I do have cards that I need to show you.  Enjoy your coloring! xoxo
