Awake in Purple Dream

Hello and welcome back to Passionate Paper Creations!  Rhea here sharing Awake in Purple Dream by:

I colored this image while waiting for one of my classes to start a few weeks ago and finally finished the card design.  I love the whimsical and mystical art of Ching-Chou Luik  and I hope you do as well.  One of my students at another store pulled the original coloring up and asked me about it.  She asked if I was going to make it into a card......I wish I could remember who it was in Maryland!!!!
I am certain she will see it and leave me a message :)

Here is the color palette I used.

Cookies

Welcome to Passionate Paper Creations, this is Jo and I am here to share my project using Creative Basics Dies and Some Odd Girl Cookies Digi Image.

Creative Basics Dies:

I colored this sweet grandma with Copic Markers. I added a touch of glitter on her glasses with Star Dust Stickles. I gave her mini pearl earrings. The image is framed out using the Basic Pierced Ovals die and it is layered above the Basic Stitched Flags. I love these basic shapes for dies to use on my cards. I added a scallop border on the side using the Cutting Edge Borders 1 set. I placed some crochet trim on the border of the stitched flag, because grandmas and crochet trim go great together =). Lastly, I added some dark green enamel dots on the top right.

 Copics
Skin: E00/E11/BV00/RV34
Eye Glasses: B00/B0000
Hair: C5/C7/C9
Top/Shoes: G03/G05/G17/YG67
Plaid Skirt: E31/E33/E35/E37/E49

Selene Grad Tag Greeting Farm

Hello Welcome All to PPCF this is Ruby. I have a fun Grad Tag to share with you today.

I did a Tag Ribbon using a few Creative Basic Dies.
The process was very easy. In a few steps you have a wonderful tag to give to a lucky graduate.

Firstly I started with the coloring process,  Selene digi stamp from The Greeting Farm. With a combination of Copic Markers and Distress Ink pads.

I then fuzzy cut her and placed her on a metallic Gold cut, nice and centered.

I cut out a purple back border for her using Basic Background Builders I  die
All was adhered down on a medallion fan fold circle.

Now for the bottom fish tail tag I used Creative Basic Stitched Flag backed with black cadstock.

The sentiment is just perfect for her.
It translates ,"I wish you the best on your special day".

Decorated with gold ribbon and a pretty flower. Adding pretty black sequence on the bottom trim of the sentiment to finish it all off.

I hope you enjoy the Grad Tag. Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day
Ruby

Summer Has Arrived!

Hello all our flower lovers!  This is Rhea here today for Monday Inspiration.
How about this 8x8 framed wreath of Flowers with a touch of metal?

This digi is called Peony Love

I increased the size to be 7.75" x 7.75" so it would fit within the 8x8 frame.  I wanted to make it unique and happy.  As I was framing it the inside was missing something then I realized what it was.
It was a butterfly.  I searched for dies and had a couple picked out then I remembered I had metal!!!
What a way to make it even more unique.

The colors used were:
YG13, 97, 99 and YG21 as a highlight on leaves
Pink Flowers:  V01 highlights, RV11, 52, 66, 69
Purple Flowers:  BV31, 43, 04, 08, C9
Yellow Flowers:  Y11 highlights, Y21, YR21, 23, 24, 27, Y28

Another framed piece for my Flower Wall.
