Hello Friends, I have slowly been working on this project over the last few weeks. Just taking my time. This is a digi image from Whimsy Stamps. Did you actually know-how many digital images Whimsy has, and they add to them every single month. Below you will find the link to this digital image.
Silvia Zet the illustrator of this image has always created unique images.
This one was really fun to color it and I have included a color pallet for you to reference if you like.
The background may seem confusing by looking at the color pallet.
Here is how I did it.
1. I randomly used all the colors shown under the sky. I literally scribbled and used quite a bit of ink. 2. 2. Then I took my water brush and filled it with 91% alcohol. Not the kind you drink...the kind you get at the grocery store. And, I will leave that alone......
3. I waited until it was completely dry. Ok, so I broke out my heat gun to hurry the process.
4. I added the texture with blending solution and a piece of burlap or it may have been a piece of upholstery scrap. I think most of you may know this process by now. Dampen the rag with the solution and hold only for a few seconds. Do not get it to wet or you will have a blog. Do not hold it too long or you will have an oversaturation look.
Notice, the sky is mentioned 1st. That is because I did the sky first due to the fact I was using blending solution and alcohol and I only wanted it on the sky and not my image.
