Stampendous and Core'dinations

Hello and welcome to the Stampendous and Coredinations Week.  It's always inspirational when these two design teams get together and play.  There are fun designs all week long with Friday being the big blog hop day.

Of course there are prizes! We'll give away three packs of goodness! Here is Baby Booties from HouseMouse Design® which is available in cling rubber at Stampendous. Perfect with Coredinations paper in Scattered Straw and Sailboat blue.  I had the embossing hearts edge folder that I used with scattered straw paper, sanded it, then fussy cut around the hearts.  Stamping the letters using Stampendous typewriter letters was perfect.

The image is colored with Copic Markers and layered again with Coredinations card stock.  I even used the Coredinations card stock for the card base.

Wanting to bring more of the sanded hearts into the designs to I used the inside of the card.

Here is the color palette I used to color the image.

I start with my the lighted color then go to dark, then medium and back to light.

Note, I used gray shade into my blues for a deeper shade.
