Hi Rhea here to share a design I did for my momma. Some of you are aware about my recent TIA's (mini strokes). I am back up and running full speed ahead...ok, maybe not full speed. The strokes effected my left side and I am left handed so it is quite frustrating. However, I am back to designing and coloring with my copics. YAY!
My Mommy has been so wonderful and a huge help. There are not enough words to express my gratitude.
This is the first card I made only a few days from being released from the hospital.
Once again, I've used my clear embossing and my distressed inks to create a resist effect. Super easy and a whole lot of fun!!!!
for the inks I used Tim Holtz Summer Limited Edition! Yes, for reals!!! Just because they are; Salty Ocean Blue, Picked Raspberry Pink and Mowed Lawn Green does not mean they can't be blended together to make hue's of PURPLE!!!
I started with the picked raspberry using my ink blending tool. Then filled in a few more areas with the Salty Ocean and again with the Mowed Lawn. Then, work opposite colors on top of each other until you have the color depth you want. There is a whole lot of ink on this one....I wanted it to match the purple paper.
