Hi all :)  It is time for the first challenge of the New Year over at Tiddly Inks.  We are going to keep it Clean and Simple.  If you've followed me you can imagine this is a challenge for me.  I do it from time to time but not often.  LOL!

Be sure to jump over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog for more inspiration from my teamies.  Make sure to leave some love to each of them as we all worked really hard on this challenge.

Sweater Socks Fairy - Saturated Canary

Hello,  today I am so excited to share another altered cigar box.  It's been a while but finally the little "Sweater Socks Fairy" was my muse.  She was so kind to become my "Woodland Fairy"

She is surrounded in airbrushed cheese cloth, May Arts Ribbons in burlap and 1" sheer that has been heated and shaped.  Twigs with flower soft and halo glitter.  Mica Fragments and lots of Dew Drops from The Robins Nest.

Here is a closer view of the coloring details.  I blended the E40's in with the YG90's for her clothing and wings.  I did the same for her eyes.

Withering Fairy - Saturated Canary

2014 has to be a better year...just sayin'
I couldn't help myself...snicker.  This "Withering Fairy" is so awesome and has a little bit of, "I've had enough" attitude.  I thought she was perfect to bring in the new year.  My 2013 was fine but I am all about out with the old and "BRING IT" with the new.

I hope you all have a year filled with blessings in 2014!!!

Make It Colourful January Coloring Challenge

I have done projects for both the easy and the hard challenge.  So lets start with the hard part adding sun rays and/or water.  Below this project I colored with yellow and blue.

Zoe has this scene coming to the store soon!  She will be back from holiday in a few days :)

Here is the color palette....feel free to pin it :)

Here is the yellow and blue project
I used Fairy Poinsettia for my project.  For the wings I used my blender and tip to tip to create a transparent look.  On the bodice I blended the yellows into the blues which made a blue green color.  the rest was basic shading and blending.  I did do drop shadows with C1 based on my light source.
