A Girl Can't Have Too Many- All Dressed Up

Welcome to back to Paper Passionate Creations. Your new friend Ruby. Today I'm sharing a tag using Creative Basic Dies and featuring All Dressed Up - A girl Can't Have Too Many, Rubber Stamp.

The Stamp set comes with this cute girl and all these adorable extra accessories like a hat, sun glasses, shoes, necklace, purse, tiny heart  and sentiment.  A very sweet set indeed!!

First I colored her with my Copic Markers and then Fussy cut her.
I used Creative Basic Stitched Flags to start my base with pretty Design paper.
I used Cutting Edge Borders I to trim the top of my tag. I then cut it apart to layer it for depth.

I used a smaller size Basic Stitched Flag to stamp my sentiment from LDRS Just Because. I then just tuck it in enough to stand out and be read.

I also used and trimmed some pretty Olive Jumbo leaves from Ribbon Resource to decorate around
LDRS Dewdrop Circle and around some of the flowers.

Thank you for swinging by.

Creative Basics Dies and Some Odd Girl

Welcome to Passionate Paper Creations, this is Jo and I am here to share my project using Creative Basics and Some Odd Girl Ribbons image.

Creative Basic Dies

I used one of the edge dies in the Cutting Edge Borders 1 set to create that little slope on the card. I matched it up with some pattern paper for a layered effect. Just below that edge, I used the scalloped edge die and inserted a vellum panel below to complete the top part of the card. I used the Basic Pierced Ovals dies to layer beneath the image and used the Gilded Oval Die set (LDRS Creative) to frame the ovals. She is colored with Copic Markers. Lastly, I added a sheer ribbon up top and some flat back pearls on the bottom right.

LDRS Creative Teams Up With Faber Castell

Welcome to Day 1 of LDRS Creative and Faber-Castell week long blog Hop!  What an exciting combining of Companies we have for you this week.  There will be so much inspiration on the LDRS Blog and Faber-Castell's Blog!  And of course prizes!
At the end of the week LDRS will be choosing one lucky winner to receive a $50 gift voucher to the LDRS store.  Faber-Castell also has a $50 Prize Pack.  So be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win!!!!

I created a garden scene with a long board.  First I used Faber-Castell Gesso to paint the board.  Then with Pastel Gelatos I rubbed a little here and there (literally)  Using Faber-Castell Glaze I painted over the top which acted like water and blended it to a nice watercolor finish.  The board I scribbled Brown Gelato and rubbed wet my fingers with water and rubbed.
For the flowers, I shaved a little of the same colors from the background to create a water color paint. Then painted the flowers.  Added ribbon and cheese cloth.
The final steps were to color LDRS Creative - DoveArt Studios Tea Time, fussy cut and attach.
A few Creative Basic, Stitched Flags and layered the background with Gilded Doily

Make sure to visit LDRS Blog and Faber-Castell's Blogs for even more inspiration and to enter for prizes.

Creative Basic Dies and Saturated Canary

Welcome back to Passionate Paper Creations.  Rachel here with you today, and I wanted to share a card I made with an image and dies from LDRS Creative!

This image is Violet Vintage from Saturated Canary.

I colored her with Copic Sketch markers in the
following colors:

Skin- E13, E21, E00, E000, V01 (BG000 for the lens)
Hair- E11, E21, E09, E18
Clothes- R39, R37, R35, R32, R30
C3, C1, 0
E44, E43, E42

After coloring her, I cut her our with the Basic Pierced Ovals.  I then
matted the image with the next size up pierced oval.  I used Distress Ink
on the edges of both pieces.  A few pearl drops around the image for
a girly/vintage vibe!
Next I ran some red cardstock through the full Gilded Embossing Folder.
After the cardstock was embossed, I used a sponge dauber and Distress Ink
(Vintage Photo) to ink the raised portions of the design.
I attached the embossed card base to my A2 card, and used brads on the
corners.  I wanted a little more embellishment, so I cut out the piece at the
bottom with the Gilded Oval Die Set, and also used Distressed Ink on it.
After I got everything into place just like I wanted, I finished her off
with some gorgeous handmade paper flowers from I Am Roses.
(And just a little bling!)

Creative Basics Dies and DoveArt Studios

Welcome to Passionate Paper Creation.
Dorinda here today to share this adorable DoveArt Studios image called Bad Doggy.

I've printed out the sentiment, then cut it with Creative Basics Dies Basic Stitched Flag.
Using two tones of olive card stock; I cut additional parts and created an effect to my liking.
With Creative Basics Dies Basic Background Builders I I've created my frame.
I love to experiment to find new ways to use these gorgeous, versatile dies.
Taking the single line and its outline, I cut four pieces.
I laid the parts down on my image and marked where I wanted the frame to end.
Then scooting the cut piece back on the dies end; stopping at my mark. I re-cut the tip.
It was super easy to do as I can feel the piercing slides into place on the dies
so I know I've got a perfect fit.
Then having only the tip covered by my Cuttle bug plate; that will be the only part that cuts.

Copics Used:
E49, YR27, 24, 21,20
YG99, 97, 95, 93
I then used a water brush filled with alcohol;
cleaned out my B12 cap to give a quick wash creating the sky.

Big Hugs,

Power Poppy Monday - Hellebores Digital

Welcome back to Passionate Paper Creations.  Rhea here and Today I am sharing Power Poppy, Hellebores Digital Stamp.

Clean and Simple is oh so popular!  For some like me it wasn't easy to do at first.  I am a very detailed person and love layers and embellishments.  I love adding shaped dies and textures of ribbon and whatever else I can find.  With this beautiful Hellebores Digital Stamp I think I was a able to accomplish the CAS but still added a touch of embellies, texture with a few layers.  But showing the true beauty of the digital image its self.

Then came the question, to fussy cut or not to fussy cut?  hahahahah  When I added the sentiment next to it I decided not to fussy cut that area and place layers there.  But I did fussy cut the rest of the image.  That really made the image pop off the textured background.  Of course I used pop up squares to help it along.

The background was created with Creative Basic Dies Set, Background Builders 1.  This set is amazing what you can do with it.  I have 4 new dies just released and you can find where to buy them here. There is a long list so if you are in the states or across the Ocean don't worry.

There was one little problem...ever open a marker and a blob of ink drops on your image?  Yup, me too!!  Right on the sentiment, and just as I was finishing the last flower.  So what do you do?  Put more dots on the sentiment and act like it was suppose to be there :)  just sayin'

Here is the color palette I used so you too can color up this beautiful image.

Creative Basics with All Dressed Up!

Welcome again to Passionate Paper Creations.  Rhea here and I am inspiring you today with LDRS Creative's, Creative Basics and All Dressed Up.

I just love this card!   Yah, I made it but still.  Lets start with Creative Basic Dies and the card design its self;  First I made the background using Background Builders I.  Use the strains line and the diamond shape without the outline cutting pieces.  Line up the straight line and the diamond shape, run through the machine, repeat 3 more times then just to the top line.  Trim to fit the matting piece.

Next comes Cutting Edge I.  Use the arch die to cut a piece of patter patter.  Use the wave to cut a coordinating paper. Trip to desired lengths. Place these together as shown.  Both are stacked using foam pop up squares.  I used ribbon to create little flags to accent.  Added sequins.

The Image is from the All Dressed Up Stamp Set Girls Night Out.  You actually get 3 images in this set!  Here are the colors I used to color her.
