Stampingbella's Oddball Sparkle Fairy

Well, This "Oddball Fairy" seems completely normal to me.  I mean, seriously, what fairy can drop a bit of dust and have it explode into a master of wonderful color, right?  And have you ever actually seen a fairy fully awake?  Or one that isn't exhausted!  I am by no means a fairy and I am ready for bed at 2:00 in the afternoon.  Heck, I am falling asleep writting this post at 2:08 in the afternoon.

If you know me...you know I'm a little off my rocker. Hush Pauline!  You sister are way off yours!  You also know that i love backgrounds.  So this fairy needed something a bit different.  An attemp of a big moon....well as you can see it didn't work out so well.  But you know what?  It's ok.  Because even as a sesoned colorist I try and fail.  Then I research some more and try it on another project and it will be better until it is mastered.  After studying on google, I can tell what I did wrong.  So that is good.  But overall I still like the card and I will still show it because I am not perfect.  Now you try it!  Let's see what you come up with.

Penguins do love watermelon....it's true and I can prove it.

See...I told you I could prove to you that penguins like watermelon.  Hahaha, Crissy Armstrong makes penguins do all kinds of things that are adorable!  She has made us fall in love with these funny water birds with great personalities.  Although many have tried to capture these personalities, no one but Crissy has done it so well.  You can find an entire aray of penguins from Crissy at Whimsy Stamps.

Country Porch

When People think I live in New York, they think big city.  Nope!  Most of New York is beautiful country side with quaint little historical towns everywhere.  And this house looks alot like ours and many others in our town.  Well, it will in another few weeks.  This Whimsy Stamp is called Country Porch.  And it is AWESOME!  Coloring all the details was so much fun for me.

You could color the tree in fall colors as well.  That would really brighten it up and change the entire picture wouldn't it?

New Release from Power Poppy

Today, Power Poppy is releasing a new digital image.  It is called Seasons' Seatings.  With this digital set, you actually get 2 images and sentiments.

We love any scene that exudes cozy fall goodness — a secondhand chair in the garden?  Of course! It's the ideal perch for a rustic pumpkin bouquet. You may recognize this image from our popular clear stamp set "So Grateful". What's especially neat about this digital download version is that you get two focal images, one of the large chair vignette, and a second large image of the pumpkin bouquet by itself, featuring with dahlias, berries, and Black-eyed Susans. The verse from Ecclesiastes, "He has made everything beautiful in its time" is the perfect accompaniment, and you'll also get a shorter "Hello, Beauty" sentiment. A coloring feast awaits!

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll be back on the 5th of October with a new digital release.

Hi!  Sending a happy hello fall style.  Notice anything familiar?  Yup, the confetti! This is one of the cards I did before the class you saw in yesterdays posst.  The daisies are from Kindness is the way which is a free digi from Power Poppy. "Wait, what did you just say?"  Yes,  I did say free digital image.

The image comes with a full page of daisy heads and a single daisy head so you can create your very own style of card.   Which I have done here.

Power Poppy and Vanilla Arts

Hello,  Welcome back to another day of Power Poppy with a class project from Vanilla Arts Company Live Coloring Class Project.

In case you didn't know, Vanilla Arts Co. does live Classes once a month.  They are usually Power Poppy Images.  This month was the Gerber Daisies.  The twist was we colored everything with the chisel end of our markers.  At first, I was like what?  Then I was like, this is so much fun and I learned quite a bit!

I have to admit that when I got the newsletter and saw the project and saw the confetti, I was like oh yeah, I totally forgot all about making confetti in the background!  There were several projects I did that had confetti in the background before, I took the class.  And they are really cool.  But this class took that concept to an entirely different level!

This is one of my top 3 favorite pieces and, yes it will be framed after using the setting spray on it. Great Job Amy, for thinking outside the brush nib!

Kitty n Pumpkin by Whimsy

You are looking at this picture scratching your head right?  Thought so.
The card front is acetate with Nuvo drops and the Kitty Pumpkin fussy cut.  There is also a black fence.  The inside is a background of a dark sky I made with glossy paper and Copic Refills.

This is a must see in person card.  It was so hard to get a photo of it.  I tried in so many ways.  Trust me it is a darling Halloween card.
