Hello, Today is Power Poppy's New Digi Release Day.
I was inspired by Cindy Lawrence when I saw this image to use shades of blue to color it.
She had done a beautiful image in December which reflected an old china look. I just loved it, so I used it here.
The blues I used were B00 21, 24, 28 and 39
Here is a message from Marcella hereself;
I have been very intrigued with folk art and primitive art for a long time. Not the super duper primitive, so much as the decorative arts of rug hooking and quilting. Doing this research led me to stumble upon a bunch of Crewel embroidery images, and let me just say, I probably spent a weekend slobbering over the images I found! I created a clear stamp set based around this imagery, called Folk Heart — it is debuting this week, and is similar in feeling. I actually designed Flowers, Always to be in this clear set, but it's so darn WIDE, I don't think it will fit on a clear block! So, for your digital-creating pleasure, we present Flowers, Always, a 5.5" wide image. You can CROP INTO IT, you can shrink it and make a pattern, you can color it straight out, you can ZOOOOOM in, you can do whatever you want.
Flowers, Always comes with one really long sentiment to go with the very wide image!

This combines the crewel artwork my mom and grandma used to do with the dishes we had growing up!
Beautiful and cheerful!
