Angelic Wishes

Welcome to Paper Passionate Creations.
Dorinda here today.

As Christmas draws near, we begin to really think about our blessings; those we hold dear,
helping others, even having a home.
I'd like to think I appreciate my blessings year round.
I am truly blessed with my family and friends.

So, today I'd like to share a little Angelic thought with you.

This is DoveArt Studios, Fairy Ella.
She is so fragile and precious.

The dies I've used are from Creative Basics. You can find them at LDRS Creative

I hope she adds a little sparkle to your day.

Little Super Hero with a Surprise!

Hey all, Rhea here again at Passionate Paper Creations.  I wanted to show you a special creation from Creative Basics Dies, Fancy Squares and Little Things.  This time I only used the HALF DIE!!!!!!

Now, I ask you, how pretty is this card?
all the flowers, and details and the ribbon with dew drops.

Then BAM!  You open it up and this happens!

This multi fold was created from a 6" x 12" card stock and the half die from the Fancy Squares and Little Things Die Set.  I was so easy.
Find the center of the paper
Find the center of the die piece
Start in the center and tape down lining up both center points.
Next, move half die to next side (it will lap over) and run through machine
Repeat on the other side
Make sure to line up cut lines on each side
To make the layers I just used the half die to cut the papers to layer and cut it in half for a perfect fit.
Super easy!
In my opinion we should have happy flowers every day of the year!

North Woods with Creative Basics Dies - LDRS Creative

Welcome back to Passionate Paper Creations.  Rhea here today, sharng a little inspiration from LDRS Creative.  Here I've used Creative Basic Dies and North Woods Clear Stamps with matching Dies.

This card was fun!!!!  Using the Creative Basics Cutting Edge Boarders, I made tabs to have them pop out from the inside fold of the card. I layered the Stitched Flags to hold the pop outs easily into place.  Highlighted the bottom edge with Basic Background Builders.  I also put the sentiment on a flag from the Fancy Rectangles Die Set
Now the North Woods Clear Stamp and Die Set is fun and easy to color with.  It has so many cute animals and accesory pieces to match them.

Dove Art Studios Blog Hop

Due to the popularity of the DoveArt Studios line of stamps, it is our biggest release yet.

Featuring 12 new stamps ranging from Easter, Southwest, oriental, in the woods, magical and country.  Something for everyone!

We are very excited about each of these new stamps and we know you will
want them all!!!

We want to give
you a chance to win several of these new stamps so
let's get ready
to HOP!

Each of our Design Team members will be sharing their
inspiration with gorgeous projects
that feature every one of these new stamps!

Here is what I have created:

I just love this image!  Bridge Over Water is just so lovely colored and it can be done for any season.
Here I colored with Copic Markers first then added fine touches with Prisma Pencils.  This helps to add depth and detail that can sometimes be hard to achieve with Copic's alone.
I honestly used so many shades of green markers along with so many pencils, plus I was so into this project I forgot to write them down as I worked.  I literally had a pile of markers on my desk.

Here is how you play:

1.  Visit
each design team member's blog (Blog roll below).  If you are starting on my blog be sure and hop back to the beginning so you can see all the new stamps and have a better chance of winning.

2.  Leave a
comment on each blog.

3. When you reach the end of
the hop, you will be at DoveArt Studios blog.  There you will leave
the name, or names of your favorite stamps in the release, or your favorite card made from the release.

We hope you enjoy!!  Let's Hop!

Basic Cutting Edge Borders 1

Welcome to Passionate Paper Creations!

Shelley here to share my latest creations with you using some of the Creative Basics Dies.

Whatever would I do without those borders?!  I love the Basic Cutting Edge Borders 1 as I love to keep my cards simple and if using a large image (as I just can't seem to pre-plan a card design lol), they just give my card that extra zing and dimension when combined with some decorative paper.  They are my go-to die and rarely out of my reach [grin].

Also used: Basic Stitched Flags on Tangled Angela

Images from Angels Hearts and Memories and other dies and embellishments from my stash.

Coloured with Copics on Xpress-It Blending Card.

More details on my personal blog.

Thanks for visiting today and hope to see you over on the Passionate Paper Creations & Friends Facebook Group.  Lots of fun and inspiration 24/7!

Lysa here with you today and I'm thrilled to be sharing a card I made using Creative Basics dies and this adorably sweet Holly Poinsettia image by a PPCF sponsor, Conie Fong Art!

After coloring her with Copic markers, I die cut the image (and the aqua piece) using the Fancy Rectangles & Layers die set, stamped the sentiment and adhered both die cut pieces onto my card base with another sheet of coordinating patterned paper. I finished off my card with some sparkle with the red glitter washi tape and holiday sequins!

Copics used:
hair: 100, C3; skin: E000, E00, E21, R01, clothing: BG02, BG05, BG07, R17, R37, R89, R81, R83, R85, Y32, Y35, Y38; boots: C1, C3, C5; poinsettia/pot: R17, R32, R43, R35, W1, W3.

CandiBean Hand picked For Hedgy

Welcome back to Passionate Paper Creations!
This is Ruby from and that's all she wrote and I'm here today featuring this cute adorable CandiBean Stamp Hand Picked for Hedgy with Creative Basic Fancy Rectangles & Layers die set and kicking up a notch once again with the gorgeous Creative Basics Picnic Quilt Embossing Folder.

I colored my CandiBean stamp image with Copic  markers and cut it out using the big die from the Creative Basic Fancy Rectangles & Layers die.

I simply mounted my image on a brown base paper using the beautiful elegant Creative Basic embossing folder Picnic Quilt.

I am truly addicted to using that folder. The texture just pops out of it!

Thanksgiving Decoration with Creative Basics Pierced Ovals

Welcome to Passionate Paper Creations!

Shelley here to share with you a very quick and simple table setting idea with Creative Basics Dies, Basic Pierced Ovals

I have used: Basic Pierced Ovals

I simply cut a 6" x 6" piece of cardstock, scored it at 3", adhered my decorative paper front and back and then lay the 1/2 oval easel card maker die on the scoreline and ran it through my die cutting machine.  Voila, I had a free-standing place card base to decorate for the Thanksgiving table!

Simple but I think great to dress up the table.

Boo... Happy Halloween!

Hello! Welcome to Passionate Paper Creations!

Lysa here, and I'm thrilled to be sharing a card I made using Creative Basics dies
and this super cute image by a PPCF sponsor, Conie Fong Art!

I love making Halloween cards, and I'm squeezing in as many as I can before Monday!

Today I wanted to share how easy it is convert an "everyday" image into a Halloween one - all it takes is a little imagination and a change in the color combination!

So for this card I used Tori the Dragon- up...

I colored Tori using copics, stamped the letters "BOO" in the balloons, and die cut the image using the Basic Stitched Flag die

Copics:
 dragon: Y02, YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67, R20, V04; balloons: W1, W3, W5, G02, G05, G07, V04, V06, V09; YR02, YR04, YR07.

I also made this one using Bat Friends a few weeks ago.

(you can find details on my blog)

I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend... and for those that celebrate Happy Halloween!!

Creative Basic Cookies

Welcome to Paper Passionate.

Dorinda, here with your LDRS Creative inspiration.
This is the cutest little image called
What Cookies.
I've used Creative Basics Fancy Squares & Little Things Die Set
Picnic Quilt Embossing Folder
Basic Background Builders I

I had a blast making this card.
I started off cutting two pieces of white card stock with the larger
Fancy Squares & Little Things  frame.
I then cut the smaller frame of my designer paper and one piece using my white card stock.
With a brown card stock; I cut about a half piece of the smaller frame and embossed it with
 Picnic Quilt Embossing Folder.
Setting the brown piece and the white piece together to make a stack;
I marked the white frame where the curve starts and cut the above portion off the white;
Adhering the brown to where the white used to be,
Now, I've created a cute top piece for my cookie jar.
The straight dotted portion of Basic Background Builders I
was used to cover the join edge.
With the tag from  Fancy Squares & Little Things Die Set; I created a pull tab.

The now finished inside section is placed between my two original, large, frame pieces.
Eyeball where you'll need to adhere to top; still leaving room for the center to pull out gently.
A little strip was added on the bottom with Fancy Squares & Little Things small frame for the jar base and just aligned it with my designer paper.

That's it.
I added a tassel to my pull and some heart embellishments from Fancy Squares & Little Things.
I'm super excited how this turned out.
I'm always looking for new ways to use my dies.
If you have some and would like to share, we'd love to see them.

DollHouse Chilly Daze

Welcome back to Passionate Paper Creations!

This is Ruby from and that's all she wrote and I'm here  featuring a NEW DollHouse Rubber stamp Chilly Daze  with Creative Basic Fancy Rectangles & Layers die set and kicking up a notch with the gorgeous Creative Basics Picnic Quilt Embossing Folder.

I colored DollHouse Chilly Daze with watercoloring Tombow markers , Prima watercoloring pencils and TimHoltz Distress Ink pads. I get asked what are my go to mediums and I actually like to pull various brands so it's really how I feel when I see the image and what I want to do with it.

I then cut her using Creative Basic Fancy Rectangles & Layers die. I used the bigger size up to cut a pretty border to surround her. I also cut some tags to create a border in the center with the same set.

My favorite piece is that GORGEOUS embossing pattern in the background using the Creative Basic Picnic Quilt Embossing Folder.
Just puts everything together I say.
Thank you for visiting today and we look forward to seeing you over at Passionate Paper Creations & Friends Facebook Group!
