Make It Colourful - Muscle Tone Challenge

Hello,
Yes, it is time to start our third challenge over at Make It Colourful.  Make it Colourful is a FUN place where color addicts gather to learn as well as be challenged to take our skills to the next level.

I am so happy to to be a part of the Make It Crafty Inspiration Team.  It is nice to be challenged and to and learn to techniques from a talented group of Color Artist.  You can learn too just by joining us!

We have an easy challenge and a hard challenge this month.  The easy challenge is to color a skin tone with colors you don't normally use.  The hard challenge is muscle tone.

I wanted to attempt the muscle tone.  I admit it isn't done as well as I would have liked.  But that is what this challenge is all about.  Learning :)  I am proud of myself for trying!!

I started with a spare image and marking where I wanted the shadows with a gray marker.  This helped me to visualize before moving on.

I find using W1 in the shadows of the skin adds more depth and contrast.  I will sometimes blend it out with E50 or 51 if needed.

Here is a the color palette.

Hi Rhea,
I think that this colouring is absolutely fantastic.
I wish I could do that, but I am just a very beginner and don't like anything that I do.
Once again wonderful.
Thank you.
I hope that you have a fantastic day and weekend.
Love and best wishes.
Anne
