Maker's Movement Pop It!

Hello, Wouldn't you love to make your own Pop Up Squares?  Well, guess what, You can with Maker's Movement Foam Sheet and Squares and Circles Die.

Today just so happens to be my sweet husband's birthday.  So I took this opportunity to create a unique card just for him.  We all know it is difficult to make a masculine card.  Maker's Movement made it easy for me this year with two of four of their products.

Here is what I used.  The most important is the Double Sided Adhesive Craft Foam.  With Foam sheets, any of the Maker's Movement dies can cut through it.  BUT, the best die is the Squares and Circles Die.  I have given you a closeup above, so you can see exactly what it cuts.

I ran the hearts and square/circle dies through the Crossover II Machine.  The correct setting is in the instruction manual.  Above is what you see.

With the heart die, I ran a total of 6 pattern papers in masculine blues, 3 at a time.  I also cut the heart strip 2 times through the Crossover II.

I would recommend leaving your pop up set in tack until you are ready to use them.  I used a stylus to pop them out.  Why? Well, you want to keep the protective paper on both sides.  The circles came out so easy as did the squares.  Now, see those tiny pieces?  I will be using them as well!  How many times do you have this itty bitty section like a tail you want to pop up and you've used squares everywhere else? Ta-Da, now you have the perfect piece to use.  Don't waste any of this magnificent die and foam sheet!  This is a must-have in your staples.

Here you can see the cut-out heat foams and the paper is a perfect fit because they came from the same die.  Then I used the circles to pop up where the squares would not fit.  The squares where they would and, just simply used adhesive to lay down flat hearts.
Then I stamped Happy Birthday and I love you as shown.  And used a B97 and R27 to make the dots on the Copic Friendly Craft paper.
