Trumpet Vine with a little visitor new from Power Poppy

Today is a new digi release from Power Poppy!  It is called Trumpet Vine Visitor. Oh yeah, It has a hummingbird!  As soon as I saw this image I was overwhelmed to go back to the days when I created dimensional projects with a cigar box.  To me, this didn't belong on a card or in a frame, it spoke to me as a mixed media.

After working with this on and off for the last 4 days it is complete.  The photo disappoints me, you see to look at it, it is very soft looking and more pastel than in the photo.  But I do love this piece of art I created.  Something special and yes....it's a keeper.

Thank you for visiting and get excited because another new digital stamp will be releasing on the 15th.  Yes, I am working on it as soon as I am done writing.  Below is are links, so you can grab yours right away!

Did you use watercolors in the background of this picture? So beautiful! I love the multi-dimension to this picture as well! Thanks for the share, hope you have a fantastic rest of your day. Keep up the posts.

The hummingbird hides in the foliage, just like in real life, one needs to be patient to spy their quick sip. Ethereal.

Rhea, what a masterful piece of artwork! I love how you've created this amazing scene in the cigar box and how you've placed the hummers so sweetly as they take in the nectar. Your coloring always inspires me, and I love the sky! I love it! Hugs!
