Easy Holiday Card - Stampendous

Today I am sharing some Stampendous Inspiration!
This week their theme is quick and easy Holiday Cards.

To create the snowflakes I used the stencil part of the Jumbo Snowflakes Stamp Set.
I stamped VersaMark thru the stencil and then generously sprinkled Shabby White Embossing Powder and Gold Halo Glitter.  Heated it from underneath.  I sprinkled a little of the Shabby White Powder all over the plaid and blue papers for more effect.  Stamped the sentiment, attached the multiple layers of card stock and finally tied the bow and a couple of sequins.
It was a 30 minute card.

This is beautiful! I love that it is not the usual red and green. I actually favor blue on Christmas cards because it reminds me of the gleam of the moon on new fallen snow. (Yes, dreamer, romantic, all me). This is wonderful and I thank you for sharing it with us.
