May Arts New Release Blog Hop

Hey all...We are having an inspiration packed week with the New Releases from May Arts Ribbon.

The first thing that came to my mind when I received my stash was altered bottles.  I happen to collect vintage bottles and jars so I was "way" excited to alter one of them and recycle a pickle jar.

I love warm earthy colors...I think I let out a little squeal of delight with the fall leaf ribbon and the natural frayed ribbon.  OMG, it is awesome.  I actually sprinkled a little chunky gold embossing powder on the frayed ribbon to make it look speckled.   Accents were added with natural twine and a framed metal piece from my stash.

The snowflake frayed ribbon is just as yummy.   Nothing better than beige and deep red with white accents.  I used this to recycle a pickle jar.  I was thinking of adding a little tea light or even candy and giving as a gift to our neighbor at the holidays.  The flower center is elastic string coiled around a 3D pop up dot.  The flower is made from tulle and holiday twine.

Wait...don't forget The Ribbon Lady loves to give out prizes!  So if you would love the chance to win some of the new releases leave some love and return to the May Arts Ribbon Blog and leave a comment there too.

Here is our line up for the week.
