Alisa with Roses - Mo Manning

Hello crafting friends,
Last night I sat quietly for some more coloring therapy :)  I couldn't resist this precious little face, which is one of Mo's.  I know the current challenge is "Summer Flowers" (w/a Mo image)
which is right up my ally so I designed this card to play along.

The background was created with a water brushed filled with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol.  I then scribble some ink on a palette and start layering color.  (I have them listed below)  When it is completely dry, I used a textured rag and 99% Isopropyl Alcohol, pressed into the inked background to leave the texture.    It's one of my favorite techniques to use when coloring.

The roses were lightly air brushed, then colored the edges and spritzed with alcohol to get the bleed effect.

Sheer ribbon was weaved in and out of the flowers, then carefully heated with a heat tool.  May Arts Ribbon is Perfect for this
Here is the Color Palette....Feel Free To Pin It :)

Until next time...
