Knitting A Gift

Good Morning, happy Memorial Day.  Here we are celebrating the beginning of the summer season with all the seasonal lakes, pools and parks opening....and...I am sharing a card knitting hats and scarfs.  LOL.  But it is seriously so adorable I just don't care, snicker.

I've been meaning to post this for quite a while.  For some reason I lost it in the shuffle of designs and scheduling.  But none the less, it is second to my most favorite.  My favorite being Hummingbird feeder.  House Mouse Designs® are so much fun to color and they are really quite easy.  You don't have to make them vintage.  You can make them bright or pastel.  I tend to mix them up.

I added aged gold embossing powder and shabby white embossing powder to add interest to the image.  The flower is made from book pages and air brushed.  Lace ribbon and cheesecloth added the perfect touch.

Here is the color palette.  I color light, dark, medium light.

I look forward to all you cards it is fantastic the way you give the colour combinations as I am just learning it helps immensely. Can you tell me how you get the dots using the embossing powder please instead of the full colour??
