NEW RELEASE - Stampendous

Check it!  Dorothy and Toto have been steampunked.  Oh yay!!!  Stampendous has an whole collection of Oz in their April Release happening this week.

Today I give you, Overlooking Oz in a mini cigar box.

Stamp your image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  Make sure to use Copic XPress Blending Card.

I wanted the image to look old and in sepia tones so I used all of the E 40's to color.

Measure the inside of your box and cut a dark brown or matching piece of paper to exact measurements.  Then cut dark brown paper 1/8 inch larger than image and a piece of kraft paper that is 1/8 inch larger than the dark brown paper.

Stamp and emboss No Place with Clear Bark Embossing Powder.  I then cut out only the section "There's no place like home...."  Next with Aged Bronze Embossing Powder emboss all edged of the image and inside dark brown paper.

Tip; with the aged powder because it is chunky, heat it from underneath the paper.

Next, using adhesive attach the brown paper inside the box and then layer your image with it's matting papers and attach sentiment .  I used pop ups to give it more depth.  For the final touches add trinkets to give it the steampunk look.  I used a mix of products for this project. Here is another look at the final finished project.
