Tim Holtz Blog Hop

Welcome to the 7 KIDS blog hop! This month, we are featuring Tim Holtz Idea-ology products. These little (and large) trinkets are SO SWEET and can be used as card and scrapbook embellishments, as well as elements in 3-dimensional projects such as cigar boxes, frames, shadow boxes, trinket boxes, etc. The possibilities are endless!

Here I took an old cigar box and air brushed it with copics to make it look really old.  Then I added the wood grain paper to the back.  I used umbrella man die cut and honey pop paper to give the umbrella dimension (got this idea straight from Tim himself!)  I used one of Stampers Anonymous Swirls and embossed it with gold all over the inside and out side of the box.  Next I just started adding all the trinkets and buttons.  I died some of his ribbon with distress stain to add some color pop and there you have it.  Altering books and boxes is such a fun way to just escape and do something totally different.

I hope you found some inspiration from this project and leave a comment because you never know if there is a prize hiding on my blog.  I would also love, love love it if you became a follower!  I will follow your blog as well.  Hugs, Rhea

Oh, and don't forget to keep hopping onto each of my team mates!!!!  So hop on over to my other teamies playing along!

Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog you visit!!!  We are going to be giving away a wonderful prize that is hiding in one of our blogs!!!!
Here is what you could win....
