Core'dinations with Stampendous! Ravin Design

Our week of fun with Core'dinations has been full of designs from all of my team mates at Stampendous and the team over at Core'dinations Blog.  What an exciting week with only 1 more day to go!

Today I am bringing you a little Halloween inspiration with Raven Background stamped and embossed with Detail Black.  With Core'dinations paper from the Sugar & Spice collection

Using glossy paper start Lets start with the background.  I used Alcohol Inks in Eggplant, Sunset Orange and Lettuce with a gold leaf pen.  The gold leaf pen gives more of a marble look and helps spread the colors.  The Gold Leafing Pen from Krylon resist with the alcohol inks...so very cool.

If you don't have alcohol inks,  you can also use Dusty Concord, Spiced Marmalade and Mowed Lawn distress inks without the leaf pen. Using the distress inks will give you a much softer blended look.  Working in small areas add your color blending the edges of each.  You may also want to use a finger dauber if it is easier.  Let dry completely, then stamp and emboss image.  Tear some paper stick it together and there you have it.

I've use the Coredinations paper from the Sugar and Spice Collection.  First I used my edge distressing tool from Prima to cut and rough up the edges. Then I used the rasping tool which is part of this must have tool!!!!!  Or you can tear the edges.

Decorate and there you have it :)

I hope you enjoy today's inspiration!  -Rhea
